David Prosser

David Prosser was admitted as a solicitor in 1979 and his specialisation has developed into the specific expertise of advocacy in child care cases and adoption. A Children Panel member since 1985 he is a legal adviser to Barnardo’s and acts as a trustee to a number of charitable trusts. David Prosser has been exercising rights of audience in the Higher Civil Courts since 2006.


Simon Thomas

Simon Thomas was admitted as a solicitor in March 1984 and has been with the firm since this time and he specialises in residential and commercial property work, Landlord and Tenant and general business work. He is proud that the high quality residential conveyancing service offered by the firm has been recognised by accreditation to the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme.


Brendan Sweeney

Brendan Sweeney specialises in all aspects of civil litigation at the firm since he qualified as a solicitor in 1990. He represents business and private clients in employment issues including advice on employment contracts and Tribunal work, personal injury, landlord and tenant, building disputes and debt recovery. Brendan also specialises in Wills Powers of Attorney and probate matters including contentious probate matters.


Natalie Lewis

Natalie Lewis undertook her training contract with the firm and qualified as a Solicitor in 2011. She conducts a caseload of family work that includes representing parents and children in care proceedings.


Diane Bishop

Practice Manager

Diane Bishop joined the firm in 1986 bringing with her experience gained in working in the finance departments of local government, a nationalised industry and a large national company. She is responsible for ensuring that the practice runs smoothly and that all financial transactions relating to monies held for clients are dealt with in accordance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Solicitors’ Accounts Rules. Diane Bishop is a point of contact for all general enquiries relating to the practice.


Emma Jones

Residential Conveyancing

Emma qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and, prior to joining David Prosser & Co in 2013, worked in the conveyancing departments of RTL Solicitors, Howells and Countrywide. She assists Simon Thomas in all aspects of residential conveyancing.
